Pain 45+ ™ is a combination of potent and patented herbal extracts that help combat acute and chronic pain and inflammation through inhibiting inflammatory enzymes like COX-2, for example. Perluxan ® is a patented hops extract that uses super critical fluids (an extraction process used to strip away unwanted Hops constituents and keep just the Alpha Acids which have anti-pain and inflammation properties). This part of Pain 45+ acts fast, relieving joint discomfort within two hours of ingestion.

Boswellin Super ® is a patented extract of Boswellia. It is very anti-inflammatory in the joints and effective for osteoarthiritus with little cox inhibition (but seems to act on Lypooxigenase (LOX Inhibition)).

We use a 30% AKBBA, which amongst the Boswellic Acids group, is the most
effective in reducing inflammation and pain based on many clinical studies. Many
companies will put BA (Boswellic Acids) and in a high concentration. But you will not know
what part of that is AKBBA (or AKBA which is synonymous), which is the most effective at
pain and inflammation. It’s akin to a proprietary blend where you don’t know what
proportion of the blend is what.

Devils Claw is widely used in Germany, France and throughout other areas of Europe. It is very effective for osteoarthritic pain, and back pain (anti-inflammatory) by acting on COX enzymes by Harpogoside compounds in Devils Claw. This is slowest acting anti-inflammatory of all the ingredients (works best with consistent administration (vs. Perluxan which works quick)

Lastly, Gingerols, active compound in ginger, related to Capsaicin and Piperine (black pepper alkaloid that is beneficial for increased bioavailability), are used for its anti-inflammatory effect. Gingerols affect cytokines (messenger inflammatory proteins) and inflammatory enzymes such as COX. It is also a powerful antioxidant.

Recommended dose: Adults take 2 capsules one time daily and continue for best results. After a period of time when satisfied with results, the dosage can be decreased to one capsule for maintenance.
