Milk Thistle has been indicated for many uses traditionally, including combating liver damage and protecting those who work with toxic chemicals and other substances harmful to the liver. The active ingredients in Milk thistle are flavonoids comprised of silybin, silydianin and silychristin, collectively known as silymarin.
